It has been quite sometime since I last entered a blog. I have been too busy recently to have the time to sit down and start writting things in.
Whenever I read other people's blog, its always filled with both happiness and sadness. When I read my, I realised that its only filled with sadness or troubles. It seems to me that I do not blog in anything that is happy in my life. Haha. I am trying to add things in which are happy in my life too. This way maybe it would fine the fun in blogging rather than only sadness.
Today is the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. The past few days seems to have pass in a flash since I was enjoying myself and wasn't requried to work. Have been gorging myself with all sorts of new year goodies as well as food during meal times. Wherever I go, the food that was prepared at mealtimes were all so delicous as well as plentiful. The food were never finished, there were always excess food. These food were usually kept for the next meal or threw away! So wasteful. I kept thinking of those people who were not able to afford a decent meal. How wasteful are we.
Last night, we went to Ailin's house for CNY celebration. Dinner was terrific as usual and we started to gamble after our meal. haha. Played Blackjack and had won a small amount. However, Krissie did not understand the rules of the game and in addition they spoke in Chinese most of the time. Hence she didn't quite understand what was going on and how to play the game. I had to interprete most of the things and explained to her how to play the game.
The lucky thing was when Weide called and asked if I would be interested in joining him and Kevin for ice cream at Siglap. I agree immediately and asked Krissie if she would be interested. As I had asked her directly in fornt of the others directly, it may seems that they were unhappy that I dragged her out. I may had handed the situtation in an untactful manner. Did I?
However, Kriss seems to be more at ease and happier when she was with Weide and Kevin as we spoke in English all the time. They made her feel included in the conversation since all of us spoke in English. Haha At least I made one person happy.
One thing I realised about myself is that I tend to complain a lot. It dawn upon me that I might had told one too many people about the problems that I face at work. This may had resulted in the irritation of the others when I spoke of the same thing again. This is what I saw in the faces of Ivy when I repeated my stuffs to Fenglei and when I tried to tell Fenglei about it. Oh dear, am I more and more like mom? hahaha
