I was chatting with Mum recently and we touched on the topic of Dad. Dad is or now was a heavy smoker. Whenever I see him, he always have a cigarette lited. Recently he has been coughing a lot and it has been so long that I can't remember when did he start to cough. Well, the coughs are so bad that sometimes it will wake me up from my sleep. He is unable to sleep at times due to the bad cough.
He has visted the doctors numerous times. Each time the Doctors just give him a different cough mixture and he always finished them but the cough will persist. Finally, he decided to go for an X ray. The initial results were pretty bad as he has been smoking since he was 18 years old and now he is 57. However the results he obtained from the specialist was that he is fine but he needs to stop smoking.
Dad went to sign up for the Quite Smoking Course and attended the counseling sessions without fail. I was so impressed. I have always tried to make him go for such courses and I will either get an earful from him or he will just say I don't understand. The best thing that he has done is reducing the amount of cigaretts from 40 sticks to just 14 sticks a day! Wow!
When I was on my way to the kitchen just now, I saw him counting the number of cigarettes left in the box. After counting, he just placed the box back onto the table and did not lit up any cigarettes to smoke. I am proud of him. I hope that he will perserver and reduce the nos to even a single digit and finally to zero. I know that its not easy for him since he has been smoking for more than 27 years, but I really hope that he can do it.
Dad I am behind you and supporting you in reducing your cigarettes.

Yes we are back from Hong Kong after 5 days and 4 nights of "holiday". It was a incentive trip for us in the Company and Dear got to go with me after paying a little. While on the plane, the air stewardess congradulated us for going on the Honeymoon. Dear and I were very puzzled on why they knew that we are newly weds and going on Honeymoon. The fact here was that we were not. hmmmm. After much pondering, we concluded that it must be my colleague who had informed them about it. For that, they have given us a cake which we had for breakfast.

Photo taken while we were on the plane...

Isn't the cake nice? Hehe
When we arrived in Hong Kong on the first night, we headed over to Shenzhen! Haha in less than 2 hours in arriving in Hong Kong I was in China with my colleague and her friend who is a local. The food there was really really cheap. It cost only S$ 40 for 8 course meal for a group of 8. Hahha... However as Dear was tired, we headed back to the hotel while the rest went on for their massage and pedicure.
The hotel which we were staying in was called the Dosette Hotel. Its located in the Tsuen Wan which is at the outskirts of the city centre. The hotel was a little small. We did not have much space to move around at all.
The toliet. Look how small is the area for bathing. But my bathroom is already the biggest compare to my colleagues' room. Their bathing area was just half of what I have. haha.

The room where our beds are. Opposite to the bed is the tv which is hang on the wall.
The next day we headed to the Ocean Park. Hehe. Was very excited to go over there as that was a place which we wanted to go very much due to its rides.
Dear getting excited about going there....

The queue before we could board the bus to Ocean Park. All of the people from my company in the queue.

That night it was a free and easy night and all of us headed over to Niu Ren Jie where we shopped. Haha... We bought an apron at the markets. It was a pretty cute one. I did not take a photo of the apron but I will post it once I do. Bought 3 cute fans for our friends and a passport holder for myself.

Dear being excited to fix up the fan.

Our dinner for the night.
The next day we headed over to the peak and went to Macau in the afternoon. We were in for a pleasant surprise as we expected the hotel in Macau to be the same as the one we had for Hong Kong. To our surprise the hotel was a four star hotel. Look at the photos of the rooms. We felt that we were in heaven and were actually reluctant to leave when we need to.

That night we had our dinner at the central of Macau before heading to the gambling dens. Haha. We went to Venice, which is the newest and biggest casino in Macau. It was a theme Casino which is model to be like in Venice. They even had 4 canels at the 4 corners of the Casino which has a mall too.

Entrance of the casino

When we all go oversea or when people come to Singapore they all know that Singapore is such a "FINE" country. When I was in Macau, we saw these cartoons on the wall informing the locals not to spit or throw litter around if not they will be fine too. Haha...

Here are some photos of the girls in my company trying out the act cute poses.

Yeah, we completed the photoshoot for the wedding on Friday, finally. The day before the photoshoot, I twisted my neck and was unable to turn my head the entire day. I panicked and as the neck got worst, I decided to head over to Ma Kuang to get it fixed. At the end of the day, I had to get my nails done and headed over to Novena where the shop is. To my horror, the shop isn't there anymore. My last min resort was just to go over to any of the nail shop at Novena and just get it done.

I wanted to do french but the lady recommended me to do nail art instead. Love the contrast between the white flowers and the pink background.
We arrived at the studio at about 9am although we were suppose to be there at 9.30am. We were n0t sure of the place and the traffice hence we decided to be a little early rather then late. Haha we were a little too early this time. The studio is at a typical industrial estate which has practically nothing at all. The makeup artist finally came at 9.35 and we started off with my makeup. While doing that we discussed with her on the no of outfits that we have and decided not to take the traditional gowns as I have 3 EG, 1 WG and 1 casual outfit.

The first EG which I just selected for the photoshoot as its a mermaid style gown. As its difficult to walk in it, I will not choose this as my EG.

These are the two EGs which I have to make a choice between. Hmm, red or gold?

The outdoor look and shots. I kind of like the look that I gotten for the outdoor. The flowers in the hair made it look pretty nice.

The last but not the least the AD WG. I am not sure but I kind of feel that I look old in it. Maybe its the hater neck gown that gives me this feeling. I chose this gown as my EG is a bustier gown already and will like to have something different. Now I am keeping my fingers cross, hoping that it does not turn out as bad as it seems now.
