After the wedding I wanted to change my hair style a little since I have been having long straight hair for about 6 years. When my makeup artist did some wave for me for the photoshoot, I love the look that I had. Hence I started to contemplate whether I should perm my hair. Before the weddding, I went to colour my hair as the roots were showing and told the hair dresser of my intend. He suggested that I do digital perm.

Now after the wedding, I did some research on the type of perm that I wanted. I was in for a shocked! There were so many different kinds of perm! There is the ceramic perm, digital perm, Japanese Perm and I think there is the Korean Perm too. Oh my... I read more about them and happened to chance upon a forum for ladies regarding Hair, Makeup and Beauty. Its called FlowerPod. Here is the website:
    www.Flowerpod.com.sg.

There were various recommendations on which salon that others have gone to for their perms. I have called a salon up and made an appointment with them. Now I am thinking whether I should take half a day off to do it instead of doing it on weekends. My weekends will be filled with going with our Interior Designer, Alvin to purchase things for the house. Hmmmm......

These few nights I have been doing research on the type of curls I will like to have... Came across these websites which has a lot of hair styles.
Love the curls which the girls in there have.. but will I be able to achieve those curls when I perm??

In office today, I asked a few of my colleagues on whether I should perm. One of them kind of "dared" me to perm as he himself has permed before. Hahha... Most of my friends were either against it or for it. Most of them felt that since I will like to try I should do it while I am still young. The most hilarious one was my friend's son. He attended my ROM and from that day onwards I was known to him as jie jie mei mei. He saw my photos for the wedding and told his mum that I am jie jie mei mei when I had straight hair in the day. But when he saw the photo of my with curls, he just told his mum that is aunty. *Faint* Hahha. Will I really look like Aunty after I perm??

On the topic of beinging called Aunty. Last Sunday, I was being called Aunty by a teenager who was selling Walls ice cream door to door. We were on our way home from my mum's place after dinner. While waiting for the lift, the teenager walked by and asked: "Aunty, you want to buy ice cream from me?"

I looked around and did not see anyone else. I was thinking, he was referring to me?? OMG. Then he went: "Aunty, I got only two left, you want to buy from me?"

Immediately, I told him NO!! He called me aunty and still expects me to purchase the ice-cream from him???!!! I am not even 30 years old yet!!!!!!!!!
